In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized experience for the GS-09: One year of specialized experience which includes (1). Assisting in correcting normal production problems to meet production completion deadlines; AND (2). Assisting in documenting stored material until ready for use to carry out production control assignments; AND (3). Assisting in ordering manufacturing materials to ensure timely completion of production goals. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08).
Specialized experience for the GS-10: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1). Assisting in correcting normal production problems to meet production completion deadlines; AND (2). Assisting in documenting stored material until ready for use to carry out production control assignments; AND (3). Assisting in ordering manufacturing materials to ensure timely completion of production goals; AND (4). Arranging for movement of material and prepares turn-in of unused materials/parts to the supply system. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
Specialized experience for the GS-11: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1). Correcting complex production problems to meet production completion deadlines; AND (2). Documenting stored material until ready for use to carry out production control assignments; AND (3). Ordering manufacturing materials to ensure timely completion of production goals; AND (4). Attending a variety of meetings to give or obtain technical information; AND (5). Managing picking of raw materials to ensure proper flow of workload coming into the cost center. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10).
